PUMPKIN SPICE COFFEE CREAMER

PUMPKIN SPICE COFFEE CREAMER

Made with homemade coconut milk & pumpkin pie spice!

It is that time of year, ALL THINGS PUMPKIN PIE SPICE, my absolute favorite flavor for chai teas and coffee creamers. Of  course  you always have the option of getting yourself a pumpkin spice latte at the famous Starbucks that also comes with loads of sugar, no actual pumpkin and many empty calories. Instead make yourself some homemade dairy free creamer that incorporates all the flavors and goodness of fall: pumpkin pie spice and creamy warmth deliciousness.

My family has made pumpkin creamer in the past and usually we use raw milk from a local farm. I think I will definitely make my dairy free version this year for thanksgiving keeping my fingers crossed that it will be a hit.  I make my own nondairy milk for a few reasons: it only takes a few minutes to make, it’s a lot less expensive than the pre made store bought version and my homemade version dose not have any added preservatives or sugar. One of my first blogs that I wrote gave simple instructions on how to make nut milks and I use my favorite in this recipe, coconut milk. I also make my own pumpkin pie spice which is also very easy to make. Just remember whenever you make anything from scratch YOU control what ingredients are used. I hope you enjoy this creamer as much as I have in the past. CHEERS to a Happy & Healthy Holiday Season!
